2024 Open Class

WOW- it is 2024 and this is the 156th Wabasha County Fair!  We all have memories from the county fair-whether it be 4-H, Open Class, tractor or horse pull, free entertainment, grandstands, food stands---everyone has been a participant or spectator, and if you haven’t, here is your chance to join the fun and see all the things the Fair Board is doing to make it a memorable Wabasha County Fair!

After having our largest year of exhibits last year, our goal is to keep on growing. We are continually trying to do a better job of showing your exhibits. The Fair Board is making new quilt display racks in the Chalet, so we are excited about that.  Enhancements are being made to the bathrooms, roof and grandstand, among other things. Lots of entertainment this year.

Please read over the Premium List carefully because changes have been made. Changes have also been made to the online entry sheet, so make sure to download the updated copies of both documents here.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with set-up, registration, recorders, or host/hostesses.  Please contact one of the people listed below if interested (it takes a little over 100 volunteers to make things run smoothly).

If you have any questions or are willing to be a hostess for the Open Class exhibit areas during the fair, please call Valerie at 651-564-1080, Deb at 651-564-0619, Sue at 507-534-2912, Nancy at 507-272-8115 or Carol 651-564-1295.
