Wendnesday Wrap Up

A little bit of rain didnt stop us from having fun at the Wabasha County Fair! Kid’s moved their animals into the various barns, indoor projects were judged, and we all got excited for the days to come. Our great food vendors got their stands setup and delicious fair food was prepared.

Wednesday is a short day at the fair, but we still had 2 shows by the All American Lumberjack Show. It was great to see their skills with the chainsaws and rolling logs. The Exotic Animal Tent got set up was well.

With the rain, it was the perfect time to head indoors to see the various indoor exhibits. New this year was a large collection of unique quilts. Make sure to allot some time to walk through and see all the designs! There are also multiple impressive projects that were prepared by the 4-H members.

One of the highlights was the Wabasha 500 Power Wheels Race. It was held in the show-ring due to the rain, but our contestants were ready! We had a full bracket and it was great to see the head to head races.

With Wednesday wrapped up we are looking forward to the remaining 3 days and the great weather in the forcast!
