Give At Home

We hope everyone is doing well during these times. Despite the challenges, communites around MN are coming together to support one another. GiveMN is  a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations committed to helping make our state a better place. They host an annual #GiveToTheMaxDay to help non-profits raise money, and this year they are hosting a #GiveAtHome challenge.

What is #GiveAtHomeMN?

It’s a weeklong, online fundraiser on GiveMN.org to support nonprofits and schools all across Minnesota. Just as we come together each year during Give to the Max Day, #GiveAtHomeMN is about the power of our collective generosity and how it can make a difference during this unprecedented time.

How can I participate?

Mark your calendars for May 1-8 and be as generous as you’re able to support the causes you care about. Although monetary donations are most needed at this time, many organizations are seeking volunteers to help them continue their program delivery, and many groups of friends and neighbors are coming together to support the people closest to them. Use #GiveAtHomeMN to highlight the good taking place near you.

To take part on GiveMN.org, simply search for the causes that mean the most to you and give as you are able. If you'd like to go the extra mile, create your own fundraiser page for your favorite cause with a few clicks and see how much money you can help raise for them amongst your friends and family!

Giving back during tough times

Thousands of Minnesota nonprofits and schools are supporting our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, from Luverne to Grand Portage, Winona to Hallock, and everywhere in between. #GiveAtHomeMN is a celebration of Minnesota's generosity during tough times, a call to give back as we're able to help the organizations that make our state a great place to live, work and play.

#GiveAtHomeMN Bonus Grants

Each time you make a gift during #GiveAtHomeMN, you could help your favorite nonprofits and schools win a bonus grant, generously sponsored by the Bush Foundation and U.S. Bank! In fact, there are 200 chances to win part of the $68,000 bonus grant pool from May 1-8!

We hope that you consider donating to the Wabasha County Fair or one of the many other non-profits in our community, and we thank everyone for your on going support!
